Method
- Prepare your vanilla pudding and chill it until set, about 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Pour the orange-colored gelatin into a bowl and stir gently to loosen, then chill in the fridge until firm, about 10 minutes.
- In clear parfait glasses or small jars, spoon a layer of cookie crumbs or crushed wafers at the bottom. This adds crunch and helps stabilize the layers.
- Gently spoon a thick layer of vanilla pudding over the cookie crumbs, smoothing the surface with the back of a spoon for an even appearance.
- Next, add a layer of orange gelatin over the vanilla pudding, creating a bright, colorful stripe. Slight shaking helps settle the layer smoothly.
- Repeat the layering with cookie crumbs and remaining pudding and gelatin, ending with a final cookie crumb layer on top for texture.
- Decorate the top with Candy Corn candies for a festive and playful finish. Optionally, cover with plastic wrap and chill for 15-20 minutes to help layers set further.
- Serve the parfaits chilled, allowing the layers to shine through and the crunch of the cookie crumbs to be enjoyed with each spoonful.
Notes
For best results, ensure each layer is slightly firm before adding the next to maintain distinct colors and textures. Feel free to customize with additional candies or sprinkles for extra festivity.
