Ingredients

  • 2 cups Gatorade preferably chilled

Equipment

  • Freezer
  • Blender
  • Measuring cup

Method

  1. Pour the gatorade into a shallow, freezer-safe dish or tray to allow for even freezing.
  2. Place the dish in the freezer and let it freeze for about 2 hours, or until the mixture is firm but frozen through.
  3. Remove the frozen gatorade from the freezer and break it into smaller chunks with a spoon or spatula.
  4. Add the chunks to a blender and blend until smooth and icy, with a texture similar to a thick slush.
  5. Scrape down the sides of the blender if needed and continue blending until uniform in texture, resembling a frozen snow cone.
  6. Pour the slushie into glasses and serve immediately with a straw or spoon for a crunchy, icy experience.

Notes

For a smoother texture, you can blend longer or add a splash of water if needed. Variations include adding fresh fruit or a squeeze of lemon for extra flavor.
