  • 1 cup Kool Aid concentrated syrup adjust flavor and color as desired
  • 0.5 cup cold water
  • 1-2 tbsp sugar optional, for extra sweetness

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Measure out the frozen crushed ice and place it into your blender.
  2. Add the Kool Aid concentrate to the blender, pouring it over the ice.
  3. Pour in the cold water and sprinkle in sugar if using, to enhance flavor.
  4. Secure the lid on the blender and start blending on low speed, gradually increasing to high, until the mixture is consistently slushy and the ice is broken down.
  5. Stop blending and check the texture; it should be thick, granular, and brightly colored.
  6. Pour the colorful slushie into glasses, and feel free to add a fun straw or garnish for extra flair.

Notes

For an extra bright color, add a few drops of neon food coloring during blending. To customize flavors, experiment with different Kool Aid varieties or mixing in fresh fruit juice.
